HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Parker Griffith says he's had it with both the Democratic and Republican parties. He says he's an Independent now.
He joined us for Leadership Perspectives on Oct. 11, 2013.
Griffith talks about his political history and his time in Congress. He says everyone in Washington is running for re-election in 2014 and no one is focused on the current problems.
"What we're seeing is a huge dysfunctional Congress with an approval rating that, as Barney Frank says, they're less popular than gay marriage," said Griffith.
"It's infuriating that they're getting a paycheck."
