LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – This week’s Shoals Area Crime Stoppers report focuses on a Lauderdale County bank robber who disappeared almost as quickly as he walked into a Greenhill bank this past weekend and robbed it.
According to Lauderdale County Sheriff Ronnie Willis, the man walked into First Metro Bank in Greenhill this past Saturday, minutes before their 12 o’clock closing time.
Once inside Willis said the robber immediately showed a handgun to the clerk and gave her a plastic bag to fill with money.
Sheriff Willis said the man was wearing a bandana over his face, a straw hat, and black gloves.
This surveillance picture is the best look at the robber authorities have to go on.
Once the robber got what he came for, Willis said the man ran south from the bank to a waiting get-away car.
The FBI has taken over this case, and needs your help identifying the bank robber.
This week’s Shoals Area Crime Stoppers most wanted suspects come from Russellville Police.
Fredrick Terrell Helton is wanted on a grand jury indictment for attempted murder.
Kevin Jarrard Doss is wanted by Russellville Police on numerous theft of property charges and also a possession of a controlled substance charge.
Finally in this weeks most wanted list, Beverly Williams Miles has a grand jury indictment for theft of property.
