HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – We’re starting to feel a chill in the air in the evenings, but most of us are fortunate to have a warm home.

That’s not the case for everyone, and the North Alabama Coalition for the Homeless is making sure no one goes without.

Wednesday, the group kicked off its annual blanket drive that lasts through the winter months.

Blankets aren’t the only items needed — so are coats and jackets, gloves and socks, thermal underwear, sleeping bags, warm hats, sweat shirts and pants and warm scarves.  Adult sizes only, please.
