Museum Opens Exhibit Honoring Bear Bryant
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WHNT) – Today marks what would have been Coach Bear Bryant’s 100th birthday.
The Paul W. Bryant Museum in Tuscaloosa has a new exhibit in his honor. The exhibit covers his life from his childhood in Arkansas, his navy career during World War II and his 25 years as head coach at the University of Alabama.
The exhibit also features artifacts of Bryant’s that are being brought out of the museum’s vaults for the first time. The entire exhibit was designed by Huntsville’s John Kelton.
Admission is free today to coincide with Bryant’s 100th birthday.
