“Major Trafficker” Arrested in Madison with 58 lbs of Marijuana
MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office held a press conference on Wednesday afternoon where Sheriff Mike Blakely announced that a “major trafficker” had been arrested and a substantial quantity of marijuana had been seized.
Larry Ray Long, 51, was arrested at a residence on Schrimsher Rd in Madison around 2:30 p.m. Blakely said his office had received several complaints about Long.
The Madison-Morgan Strategic Counter-Drug team and the Limestone County Narcotics Team partnered to execute the bust.
Approximately 58 lbs of marijuana, plus one plant, were seized.
