CVS Catches Flack About Long Receipts, Plans to Shorten Them
Ever bought a pack of gum at CVS only to get a receipt three yards long?
The pharmacy chain says it plans to shorten the receipts in the coming weeks.
CVS commented about this on its Facebook page after people gave the company a good ribbing on social media.
The super-long CVS receipts contain coupons for customers who have ExtraCare Savings and Rewards cards.
“We’ve found a way to reduce the size of the ExtraCare portion of your receipts by 25% while still providing you all the coupons and rewards. The smaller, value-packed receipts will start printing in the coming weeks,” CVS said.
