Four Limestone Teens Charged for Mailbox Vandalism

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Police have arrested four teenagers in connection with 19 separate incidents of mailbox vandalism in the rural area of northwest Limestone County.

According to Sheriff Mike Blakely, David Boon McLemore, 19, of Salem, Jordan Johnson, 19, of Elkmont, Dakota Kimbrough, 19, of Elkmont, and a 16-year-old femal juvenile were charged with 19 counts of criminal mischief.

After investigating the 19 reports from citizens about vandalized mailboxes, deputies arrested McLemore on Monday.  Kimbrough, Johnson, and the female juvenile were arrested on Tuesday.

The Sheriff’s Office said that mailbox vandalism is a recurring problem, especially in the rural areas of Limestone Coutny and that no acts of vandalism against anyone’s property will be tolerated.
