GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A man was injured in a fall Wednesday morning at Wayne Farms Feed Mill in Guntersville.

We understand the man fell about eight feet and hurt his ankle.  Police say the man was in a high part of the plant, which presented a challenge for paramedics to get to him.

Police say teams used a crane to lower him down.

The plant is located on Highway 227.

WHNT News 19 is on the scene gathering more information about the circumstances.  We’ll update WHNT.com once we learn more.
