Men Impersonating Police Invade Home, Steal TV & Couches

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) -- Police are investigating a Wednesday morning home invasion in the 200 block of South Plymouth Road.  The suspects stole two couches and a television.

It happened just before 1:00 a.m. Wednesday.  According to the resident, two men were at the front door claiming to be police.  They kicked in the door and threatened the victim with a knife.  He ran to a neighbor's home and called police.  When the victim returned home, he noticed the couches and the television missing.

No arrests have been made and no injuries were reported.  Police say the men left with the two couches in a silver truck.  Both were believed to be heading for Decatur.
