HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The 2013 edition of Huntsville Restaurant Week is here – and the best news – it’s actually more than a week!
From August 16-25, you can get special deals for lunch and dinner at 28 Huntsville/Madison County eateries. Lunch specials include fixed prices that are either $5, $10 or $15 featuring a main course and appetizer or dessert. Dinner specials include selections at $10, $20 or $30 and feature a main course, appetizer and dessert.
For a list of participating restaurants, visit http://huntsville.org/restaurantweek. Each restaurant has posted its menu specials for the week.
The event is a celebration of local dining that benefits residents, visitors, and business owners in the Tennessee Valley.
“Hopefully our participation will help draw in new customers and give a little added benefit to our existing customers,” said Rebekah Klein, owner of Emma’s Tea Room.
It’s not just about bringing in new customers, though. The lunch and dinner specials allow people to experience local dining at a cost that won’t break the bank.
“It gives more of an opportunity to be adventurous in your dining options than you might normally be,” said Steve Bunner, owner of 1892 East. “A lot of times we eat the same places all the time, and this is a fantastic opportunity to try something new and try one of the local restaurants.”
