HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville Police made an arrest in a Tuesday morning bank robbery.

Huntsville Police spokesman Harry Hobbs confirmed that 40-year-old Adam Arzell El-Amin was charged with Third Degree Robbery.

Police say El-Amin walked into the Regions Bank on University Drive and handed a note to the teller which stated that he was robbing the bank around 10:00 a.m.  El-Amin left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money in a four-door vehicle.

Officers caught El-Amin stopped El-Amin on University Dr where they recovered the money.

No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
