Crepe Myrtle Varieties

This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

In this segment of Garden Tips, George Bennett shows you a variety of crepe myrtles.  These come in small to large varieties and many colors.

Some are dwarf, meaning they'll be three to four feet tall at maturity.  Others grow anywhere from six to 10 feet tall, and some up reach 25 and 30 feet!

The majority are lavender, pink, white and red.

Bennett says the main thing to remember when you select a crepe myrtle is to make sure it will fit your space.
