The new school year is rapidly approaching for Tennessee Valley kids and if you’re a parent stressed about the thought of another annual back-to-school shopping frenzy, you may want to turn to your smartphone.
The average American household with school age kids is expected to spend $635 on back-to-school items. Here are some apps to make the process easier:
Shoptopia – Another location-based app, helping you find stores and discounts close by. There’s also a search function for deals on specific items – think clothes or shoes.
ShopKick – A recently upgraded app allowing shoppers to make purchases from major retail partners directly from the app. For those who don’t really want to hop in the car at all.
Key Ring – An app letting users ditch store loyalty cards by scanning them and putting them in one place. The app also features a shared shopping list function so you can divide and conquer tasks and still keep tabs on who’s buying what.
