Athens Police Arrest a Man after High Speed Chase
LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Law enforcement officials say a man was arrested in Limestone County after a high speed chase with police.
According to law enforcement, Athens Police caught the driver by putting down road spikes on I-65.
They aren’t releasing the driver’s name yet, but they did give us the list of charges he will face. They include: DUI, driving with a suspended license, speeding, wreckless driving, attempting to elude officers, improper lane usage, and having an open container.
He is being held in Limestone County on $3600 bond.
