Marshall Co. Sheriff To Hold Public Meetings on New Gun Laws

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – There are changes coming to Alabama gun laws, and Marshall County Sheriff Scott Walls has scheduled several ‘town hall’ meetings in the coming weeks to discuss the changes.

Sheriff Walls will give a power point presentation at the meetings.

Here is the schedule:

-August 19, 5:00 p.m., Guntersville Recreation Center, Multi Purpose Room
-August 20, 5:00 p.m., Albertville Fine Arts Center
-August 22, 5:00 p.m., Boaz Recreation Center, Gymnasium
-August 26, 5:00 p.m., Arab Senior Center
-August 27, 5:00 p.m., Douglas High School, Cafeteria
-August 29, 5:00 p.m., D.A.R High School, Cafeteria
-September 2, 5:00 p.m., Asbury High School, Gymnasium
-September 3, 5:00 p.m., Brindlee Mountain High School, Cafeteria

Each meeting is open to the public.
