Victim Suffers 2 Gunshot Wounds Saturday Evening
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Huntsville Police are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday evening. Huntsville Police responded to a shooting outside a home in the 2500 block of Jeri Street just before 7:00 p.m. When they got on scene, they say there were no witnesses to help them determine who was behind the gun.
The person shot is believed to be in their 20′s and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police told WHNT News 19 that the victim suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Police have not made any arrests at this point.
They have not released the name of the victim or a possible motive.
