Milwaukee Man Attacked, Believes It Was Prompted By Zimmerman Verdict

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Police in Milwaukee, Wisconsin are investigating an incident that happened Sunday evening.

A 34-year-old Wauwatosa man told police that he was walking through a park near a friend’s house when he was punched in the back of the head by an unknown person, knocking him down. The victim says several other people then punched and kicked him. Officials say the victim further alleges that he heard one of the suspects refer to Trayvon Martin as they were striking him.
