Three Burglary Suspects Arrested in Crossville
CROSSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Three burglary suspects are behind bars today after being caught red-handed. On July 7, 2013 a home on County Road 24 in Crossville was broken into. The next day the homeowner was cleaning up the mess from the break-in, when he found three people trying to break into his camper beside his house. The owner of the home called 911 and held them at gunpoint until law enforcement arrived.
“We always hope that the home owner has the opportunity to call the Sheriff’s Office or 911 first. You have the rights by law to protect your family and your property. This home owner did this and we were able to make the arrest,” said Sheriff Jimmy Harris. “We are just glad that no one was injured in this situation. I would also like to thank the Crossville Police Department for working so well with our Investigators and Deputies on this case.”
Crossville Police arrested Brittany Necole Seay, Christopher Allen Kuykendall and Kenneth Seay Monday, July 8. Each is charged with third-degree burglary. All of the items that were listed missing were found in the vehicle and returned to the owner.
