Space & Rocket Center Fireworks Delayed Due To Weather

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) As rain poured more like buckets than drops Thursday afternoon, workers with Pyro Shows frantically worked to get the thousands of fireworks ready for the massive aerial show at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.

Officials were forced to delay the start of the show till 9:45, they had promised to have fireworks by 9:00. Tim Hall with the USSRC says they have pre-sold over 2,000 tickets for the event and expect close to 5,000 at the Davidson Center for the annual fireworks show Thursday.
