LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) - Volunteer firefighters were called to a mobile home fire on Sewell Road at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday.

It was first reported as a storage shed fire, but that quickly spread to an adjacent mobile home.

When crews arrived, the fire had spread and both buildings were engulfed in flames. Firefighters from Owens and Piney Chapel worked for more than two hours to put it out.

We are told the home was vacant and there was no power to the residence.

The fire marshal's office and the Limestone County deputies are investigating the case.
