Huntsville Al, At 10-2, the Alabama Hammers go into the playoffs as the league's hottest team. The Hammers rank first in scoring offense and defense, riding a 5 game win streak heading into Monday's opener against Albany. Russel Hill and company are putting up numbers you usually only see in video games, but players say those stats mean nothing this week.

"All we are concerned with is the next game," said All PIFL receiver Mico McSwain. "the next game is a playoff game so it's a big game and we can't worry about what we have done before in the regular season."

Do not let those words fool you into thinking the Hammers are worried about their opponent. Head coach dean Cokinos is keeping the focus squarely on playing well. "it's more about us focusing on executing, you know they are a good team with a good quarterback so we have to play well."
