Judge: Mother of Todd Brown First in Line to Receive Restitution
Towanda Moore, mother of Todd Brown
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The mother of murdered Discovery Middle Schooler Todd Brown will be the first in line to receive restitution from his killer.
Judge Karen Hall has granted Towanda Moore’s request to be the first person to receive payments from Hammad Memon. This will allow her to receive payments even before the courts receive payments for court costs and fines.
On June 13, Judge Hall ordered Hammad Memon to pay $14,365 in restitution to Moore.
Memon pleaded guilty to Brown’s murder on May 28. Madison County Circuit Judge Karen Hall sentenced Memon to 30 years in prison.
