Hartselle, Ala. (WHNT) – Hartselle Police arrested the man who escaped from custody by slipping his handcuffs Tuesday afternoon.

Lt. James Hollladay of the Hartselle Police Department was off duty and spotted 26-year-old Rocky Alton Hood in the same area where he had escaped in Danville.  Holladay cornered Hood and waited for backup.
