Huntsville, Ala. (WHNT) - Going into the playoffs, the Alabama Hammers may be playing as well as anybody in the league.

They boast the top scoring offense, the best scoring defense and the second-best turnover margin in the PIFL.  It's just having accomplished athletes, the Hammers say everyone comes prepared for every game.

"We're clicking on all cylinders, we're on the same page, you hear that said by a lot of quarterbacks in the NFL and stuff but I think it's very true," said Russell Hill, Hammers quarterback.  "I know where our guys are going to be."

"I think we have a lot of good cohesiveness throughout the year, we've been trying to build that and now we have the right group of guys on both sides of the ball and we've got a great coach who knows how to make the right call and I think it adds up to a winning recipe," said Darian Barnes, Hammers defensive lineman.

The semifinal round happens at 7:00 PM July 1st at the VBC.
