Huntsville Police Arrest 7 For Prostitution

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville Police arrested seven women on Soliciting Prostitution charges Thursday.

The Huntsville Madison County Strategic Drug Team conducted a detail targeting prostitution in the area of Drake Avenue west of Triana and also Drake and Cobb Road.

The prostitution sting led to the arrest of the following seven women:

Deana Michelle Johnson (21 years old): Soliciting Prostitution, Resisting Arrest, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Rosemary Jane Lemmond (30 years old): Soliciting Prostitution

Suzanne Dandrovi Hunt (48 years old): Soliciting Prostitution

Mellisa Christine Robertson (32 years old): Soliciting Prostitution

Latasha Marie Davis (22 years old): Soliciting Prostitution

Teresa Ann Jackson (39 years old): Soliciting Prostitution

Amanda Beth Garrett (29 years old): Soliciting Prostitution

Huntsville City Councilman Bill Kling thanked the police detail. “The Police Department has been very open to the needs of the West Huntsville neighborhoods, and are to be commended for their quick response to the concerns expressed from the Merrimack, Triana Village, and Holiday Homes neighborhoods,” Kling said.
