Knoxville Parents Charged In Infant’s Shooting Death
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (CNN) — A 6-month-old girl was fatally shot Wednesday while her parents were involved in a domestic dispute, authorities said.
The incident occurred in Knoxville, Tennessee, the Knox County sheriff’s office said.
The parents, Angela Major and Ken Mason, have been charged with reckless homicide and each is being held on a $1 million bond, the office said Thursday.
A handgun was used in the shooting, but it is not known what kind, how many rounds were fired or where the child was shot. Detectives and the Department of Children Services were investigating.
