Huntsville, Ala. (WHNT) - The Alabama Hammers hosted their third annual golf classic at Sunset Landing.  After closing out the regular season with five-straight wins, the team has the week off before hosting the first round of the playoffs.

The players say, though, you shouldn't expect to see them spending all of their time on the course.

"I am not the next Tiger Woods but i can hit them alright," said Russell Hill, Hammers quarterback.  "I would say that my best club is probably my pitching wedge. I don't know if that's a good thing or not."

"My golf game is basically non-existent," said Darian Barnes, Hammers defensive lineman.  "But I can putt a little bit. If you take me to a putt putt course with the big holes i'll show you how to play."

"No golf game whatsoever," said Jake Trantin, Hammers linebacker.  "I don't even try to play.  I played once and got through 9 holes, couldn't play the last nine. I had fun on the golf cart though."
