Amy Bishop Appeals to Alabama Supreme Court in UAH Shooting
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Amy Bishop continues to appeal her capital murder conviction. She has now pleaded her case to the Alabama Supreme Court.
This, according to a report by our news partners The Huntsville Times/al.com.
In September, Bishop pleaded guilty to capital murder in the 2010 shooting deaths of three UAH professors in February 2010. Bishop’s last appeal to the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals was denied in April.
Bishop is serving life without parole at Tutwiler Prison for Women in Wetumpka.
