Albertville Woman Charged After Newborn Tests Positive for Meth

ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – An Albertville woman is charged with chemical endangerment of a child.

Marshall County Sheriff Scott Walls said Jennifer Nicole Wilson, 27, gave birth earlier this week to a child who tested positive for methamphetamine.

Wilson was arrested as the hospital discharged her.  She was booked in the Marshall County Jail and her bond is set at $300,000.

The baby is currently in an Alabama hospital receiving specialized care, Sheriff Walls said.
