StoryCorps Collecting Veterans’ Stories Through Tuesday In Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - StoryCorps is visiting Still Serving Veterans today and tomorrow to record the stories of veterans.  All veterans are welcome, but this is specifically for post 9/11 veterans and their families' stories of deployment.

StoryCorps will be at Still Serving Veterans until 4 p.m. today and again tomorrow, Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  If you are interested in telling your story and in helping preserve this crucial period of history, contact Leslee at 256-883-7035, ext 113 or via lesleeg@stillservingveterans.org.

This is through a program called The Military Voice Initiative.  The recording will be like a conversation and will be preserved in the Library of Congress.  You can bring a friend or relative and tell the story to them.
