State Troopers Investigating Boaz Motorcycle Wreck

BOAZ, Ala. (WHNT)–A man was hurt Monday afternoon in a motorcycle wreck near Boaz.   The accident happened just before 6pm on Red Apple Cutoff Road.

Alabama State Troopers say the rider of the motorcycle hit a small embankment off the side of the road and landed in a ditch.  Witnesses say he was unconscious after the accident.

The man, who hasn’t been identified, was flown to Huntsville Hospital with serious injuries.

The Mt. Hebron Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call.  As you can see from the photo, the bike was not severely damaged.
