Madison Police Warn of Tornado Victim Assistance Scam
MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – The Madison Police Department has issued a community wide alert regarding a scam regarding requests for Moore, Okla. tornado assistance.
A concerned citizen alerted the Madison Police Department that someone claiming to be a representative of Madison Police is soliciting money for the Moore tornado victims.
THE MADISON POLICE DEPARTMENT IS NOT SOLICITING MONEY FOR THE MOORE TORNADO VICTIMS.
If you are contacted by anyone claiming to represent the Madison Police Department who is soliciting funds for tornado victims, please make a report to the law enforcement agency that serves your area.
