(WHNT) — According to CBS News, the FBI says it was involved in a fatal shooting near Universal studios in Orlando, Fla. early Wednesday.

CBS News correspondent John Miller, a former FBI assistant director, says the victim was “someone (the agency was) looking at in connection with Tamerlan (Tsarnaev), based on contacts they had.”

In a statement Wednesday, the FBI said, “We are currently responding to a shooting incident involving an FBI special agent. The incident occurred in Orlando Florida. The agent encountered the suspect while conducting official duties. The suspect is deceased. We do not have any further details at this time. We expect to have more information later this morning.”

Tamerlin Tsarnaev, the older of the two Boston bombings suspects, was killed in a shootout with police outside Boston in the days after the Marathon bombings.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s younger brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was arrested in connection with the bombings, which left three people dead and wounded 275.
