“Everybody has a story, everybody has a past” Tish said
Now Tish has a future. In a court room out of state, Tish sat between an attorney & Mary..who was moments away from being her mother.
A 15 minute hearing finally gave her the family she’s been waiting for 16 years.
“I got adopted!!!” Tish said
At the end of the hearing the judge gave Tish a special coin.
“This is a Sacagawea dollar .. Helped Lewis & Clark”
A coin with a brave & courageous woman on it, how fitting for our Tish & her mom.
“I had the worst past I mean I thought I was the only person standing in the shadows- that nobody would see my story and see how I felt but when you really have people like you of course like my mom that you know work hard & believe in people that never give up on them.” Tish said
‘My motto I don’t want to live my life as just for me myself and I. I wanna say that I reached back and got somebody & maybe that’s stand up over my shoulders and see that mountain top. Let me do that. Let my be that sacrifice.” Mary said
After years of waiting….Tish finally has her forever family.
