Rescuers Find the Body of Lawrence County Fisherman

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – The Lawrence County Coroner confirms that researchers have found the body of a fisherman missing since Wednesday.
Gray’s death has been ruled accidental, due to drowning.
Gray had just come home from college the day before. He was enjoying a day of fishing with friends Wednesday evening at Spring Creek Bridge on County Road 400.
Authorities say at about 8 p.m., Gray decided to climb hand-over-hand under the bridge, crossing the creek, when he slipped and fell into the water. He went under right away.
Gray’s funeral is set for Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Macedonia Cumberland Presbyterian Chuch.
