There are free activities for children and adults, including a tree planting at 11 a.m. A movie will be shown at nightfall.
The main campground was severely damaged in tornadoes two years ago. It has since been renovated and is ready for public use once again.

Each improved site has a picnic table, grill and fire ring. All of the lakeside sites feature 50-amp electrical and sewer hookups.
Nightly rates have been lowered to mark the camp’s grand re-opening. To book a campsite, call (256) 571-5455.
