Overnight Robbery at a Chevron in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Police are investigating an overnight robbery at a convenience store.

The Chevron station on Swancott Road, just south of Interstate 565 was robbed about 2:45 Monday morning.

According to the store clerk, a man walked into the store wearing a black mask, white t-shirt, and black pants. He allegedly pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money out of the cash register. After getting the money he was seen running from the store.

Police canvassed the area looking for the alleged robber. They believe he probably had a vehicle waiting near the interstate.

At this time, there have been no arrests.
