Huntsville, Ala. (WHNT) - Grissom left fielder Thomas Hill accomplish two feats this weekend.  Not only can he help the Tigers advance past the second round of the playoffs, he can also tie the school record for most home runs in a single season with one swing of the bat.

If you ask Hill what's more important to him, it's the first goal.

"It won't matter if we don't win this weekend," said Thomas Hill, Grissom left fielder.  "The championship is all I'm looking at. Records are just numbers, that's all."

"Records don't matter," said Adam Moseley, Grissom head coach.  "The only record that matters is who has two wins after this weekend and if someone has one or none, they're not going to be a very happy team."

Grissom will take on Oxford, the defending 6A state champions, Friday.
