Tuesday was a tough day on The Plains, as Auburn University and its family said goodbye to the precious oak trees at Toomer’s Corner.
While that brought an end to the tradition of rolling the trees for various special occasions, there is a way you can continue the tradition: by purchasing an iPhone App.
Learn more about the “Roll Toomers Corner” app by clicking here.
It’s available for iPhones and iPads and allows you to have endless fun rolling Toomer’s Corner.
The app was released last October, as the prosecution against Harvey Updyke, the man who poisoned the trees, advanced.
Updyke was sentenced in March for the crime in 2011, after the Auburn Tigers won the National Championship.
And even though the beloved oak trees are no longer standing on the campus, the app will continue to be available for $1.99.
