Huntsville Police Identify Man Struck And Killed By Train
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Police have identified the man who died after being hit by a train Wednesday morning.
The train was traveling west through Huntsville just before 3 a.m. when the man was hit. He had been walking on the tracks behind Dollar General at Old Madison Pike and Robin Hood Lane. The conductor saw him on the tracks but did not have enough time to stop.
Police say 32-year-old man committed suicide. They have notified the man’s family about his death.
