Family Barely Escapes From House Fire In Monrovia

MONROVIA, Ala. (WHNT) – Investigators are looking into the cause of a house fire.

Just before midnight Tuesday, neighbors saw flames coming from a home in the 100 block of Holbrook Drive in Monrovia and called 911.

When firefighters arrived, the home was engulfed in flames. It took crews more than an hour to put out the fire.

The homeowners made it out within seconds of being trapped.

There were no injuries, but the home was a total loss.
