There are conflicting reports about a possible arrest made in the investigation into the Boston bombings.
Earlier today, CNN had reported an arrest had been made. It’s not clear if a suspect is in custody now, though.
CBS News reports authorities have zeroed in on a man seen on surveillance video near the site of the attack.
The breakthrough reportedly came from analysis of video from a department store near the site of the second explosion. Video from a Boston television station also contributed to the progress, said the source.
More details are coming – we’ll continue to update WHNT.com throughout the afternoon. A news conference is planned at 4 p.m. central time in Boston.
