Limestone County Business Damaged by Fire
LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A Limestone County business was damaged by fire early this morning.
No word yet on what might have sparked the blaze at Mid-South Trailer Sales on Bledsoe Road. Firefighters say it appears the blaze was smouldering for some time before it was discovered just before midnight.
Volunteer firefighters from the East Limestone and Segars communities were able to get the fire out quickly and minimize the damage. Highway 72 had to be closed while firefighters were on the scene because of water lines stretched across both the east and west bound lanes.
This morning, the State Fire Marshall’s Office is looking into the cause of that blaze.
