Havoc Scores in Final Seconds to Force Game 3
HUNTSVILLE, AL – Justin Fox scored with :09 left in regulation giving the Huntsville Havoc a 2-1 win over the Pensacola Ice Flyers and forcing a game three in Pensacola on Sunday.
Pensacola had dominated the game before Aaron McGill scored with 9:30 left in the game to tied the score at 1-1.
Patrick Knowlton had given the Ice Flyers the 1-0 with a powerplay goal with 3:50 left in the second period.
Jesse Kallechy got the win in net stopping 36 of 37 shots. Ross McKinnon made 23 saves in the loss.
The hard-hitting, physical game ended with Pensacola forward Ron Cramer setting off a brawl behind the Havoc goal when he charged into defenseman Leland Fidler.
Game three will be in Pensacola on Sunday night at 6:30.
