Sometimes on Deal or Dud, we come across, and test some bizarre products.
This one may be familiar to some, but seemed a little quirky to me.
First, let me tell you I liked it. We made it a Deal!
It’s called the Weston Single Hamburger Press.
The press is designed to make thin or thick hamburgers.
It’s much cheaper to buy hamburger by the pound rather than the patty.
So, even though the press costs $19.99, you can recoup the cost pretty quick.
While the press may look like a medieval torture device, it works great. You put the hamburger meat on the press, and then the top half has a wing nut looking device that allows you to reach the desired thickness of the burger.
The directions, and this is a pain, did say clean it with warm soapy water as opposed to the dishwasher.
But I still make it a “Deal.”
