LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Traffic is back to normal on Interstate 65 after a deadly wreck closed northbound lanes for some time Sunday evening.
It happened around 8:00 p.m. just south of the Alabama Welcome Center.
Investigators say two vehicles collided on the northbound side. One of those vehicles ran off the road and flipped several times before landing in a group of trees. The driver of that vehicle died.
They say the other kept going. State troopers are questioning the driver of the vehicle, but not charges have been filed at this time.
