Arab Police Arrest Student For Wednesday’s Bomb Threat
ARAB, Ala. (WHNT) – Arab Police arrested a ninth grade student for Wednesday’s bomb threat at Arab High School.
Police Chief Ed Ralston said the male student was arrested Thursday around 11 a.m. Officers took him to a juvenile detention facility.
The student sent a threat by email while at school yesterday. Chief Ralston said the teen used a school computer. The student will be charged with making a terrorist threat and could face other charges as well.
The threat came in shortly after the start of school on Wednesday morning. They were moved to Arab Elementary as a precaution while police checked the high school campus. Police didn’t find anything related to the threat.
