Kerron Johnson Returns To The NCAA Tournament

Madison Academy graduate Kerron Johnson is in his third-consecutive NCAA Tournament.  His 11th-seeded Belmont Bruins will battle Arizona at 6:20 PM Thursday.

The buzzword this time of year is “upset”, but Johnson was not bold to say his team will upset the Wildcats.

“I’m sure you’ll hear a lot of that, but for us it’s about sticking to the plan and every year we draw a great team and they’re a great team and they don’t want to be upset so they’re going to give us their best shot and we’ll do the same and we’re prepared to do that,” said Kerron Johnson, Belmont guard.
