HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Adults, children and even dogs met at the Bridge Street Westin for the American Heart Association annual Heart Walk on Saturday.
People began walking at 9:00 a.m. to help raise awareness about cardiovascular disease.
All money raised goes to the National Heart Association. Participants could team up or walk solo.
Heart disease kills more women than all forms of cancer combined and walkers felt that was enough reason to spread awareness.
