Saturday’s “Run For Lori” Features Actor Lucas Black

HATTON, Ala. (WHNT) – Lori Black Crumpton is a mother of two young boys, a very popular teacher at Hatton High School, and she has cancer. She’ll undergo surgery at UAB later this month in an effort to defeat the disease.
Her brother, actor Lucas Black, tells WHNT News 19 Lori is extremely positive and upbeat and has complete faith she will beat the cancer.
Her friends and co-workers have organized a run in her honor Saturday morning. Registration and complete details can be found HERE.
After the 5K run and 1-mile fun run, a number of activities are scheduled including live music and a silent auction. Lucas Black will offer a few personal items, including an autographed poster from his newest movie, “42″, which is scheduled to be released next month. Lucas Black will also be on-hand for Saturday’s activities.
